RHP serves students from grades 2 through 12 and share a common mission to create an inclusive and diverse educational environment to foster disciplined minds, sound character, healthy bodies, and creative spirits. Philanthropy enables us to empower our students to explore, learn, and grow. Philanthropy in action is modeled daily by our families who donate their time through volunteering, board members who lend their advice and expertise, and our faculty and staff who go above and beyond to ensure our schools foster a learning environment that encourages curiosity and diversity of thought.

Each school day, we open our doors and champion the plethora of opportunities offered to our students, which include a comprehensive athletics program, various offerings in the arts, a cutting-edge curriculum, outdoor education, student-led activities, and more. Such programs are supported by our dedicated faculty as well as tuition revenue, however, we are heavily dependent on the generosity of our families and community members to sustain and grow these initiatives. 

The Husky Fund

The Husky Fund is the primary source of income for RHP aside from tuition revenue. Contributions to the Husky Fund allow us to maintain and grow our diverse student body through financial assistance, help fund our outdoor education program, and support our encouraging and competitive athletics program. Each year administrators, faculty, staff, board members, parents/guardians, and community members are asked to pledge support for our students and our school's mission by making a tax-deductible gift to the Husky Fund. 

This year’s Husky Fund will also address specific needs within our budget including:

• Technology upgrades in the classroom
• Enrichment of STEM curriculum
• The final phase of REACH playground funding
• Professional development

Why is 100% participation so important?

Striving for and reaching 100% participation demonstrates that our community is strong, united, and deserving of support. In addition to asking our community to support our great work, we seek outside resources as well, including support from foundations, corporations, and community friends. These potential funders often want to see strong support from within our school community before they partner with us. Our faculty and staff give 100% each year and that sends a powerful message to all.

How and When You Can Contribute to the Husky Fund

Because we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, all gifts to our schools are tax-deductible. Our tax ID is 95-3735164. We accept donations via cash, check, credit card, and stock. 

Husky Fund gifts are utilized in the fiscal year during which they are donated. Our fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30. Gifts made early in the school year enable us to plan and appropriately allocate such funds to our operating budget as needed. Gifts to the Husky Fund are designated in the following ways:

Named and Honorary Funds

Over the course of our school history, we have been fortunate to have numerous students, teachers, administrators, and community members who have had a transformative impact on our community. In some cases, we have decided to establish named funds to honor these significant contributors that we have lost or moved on from our schools.
