Rolling Hills Prep is proud to introduce our innovative Esports Program—launched in 2024 as part of our commitment to providing forward-thinking opportunities that prepare students for the future. This exciting addition to our athletics department brings the same principles of teamwork, strategy, and character development to the digital arena.
Our program recognizes competitive gaming as a legitimate athletic pursuit that develops critical thinking, teamwork, and digital literacy while opening doors to new college and career pathways. Just as with our traditional sports teams, our esports program emphasizes sportsmanship, strategic thinking, and personal growth.

Why Esports at Rolling Hills Prep?
The decision to launch our Esports program stemmed from our commitment to inclusivity and providing opportunities for all students to thrive. We recognized that while many of our students are passionate about traditional athletics, others gravitate toward gaming. With Esports rapidly expanding at the high school, collegiate, and professional levels, offering scholarships and mentorship programs, we saw an opportunity to create a competitive and structured environment for students who might not traditionally engage in sports.

- Over 175 colleges and universities now offer esports scholarships
- Professional pathways include game design, streaming, event management, and competitive play
- Career skills in programming, digital marketing, content creation, and analytics

Just as we guide student-athletes through the college recruitment process for traditional sports, our esports program connects students with collegiate esports opportunities. This provides another pathway for RHP students to stand out in the increasingly competitive college admissions process.
