The RHP Educational System
Every student is known. Every student belongs. Every student is prepared to flourish.
Education here is more than classroom instruction. Guided by our Four Pillars, every part of school life is intentionally connected to support the whole student.
One ecosystem, not a list of programs.
Rigorous academics, personalized learning support, social-emotional wellness, college counseling, the arts, athletics, service learning, and character development work together — so students are known deeply, challenged appropriately, and supported comprehensively.
Teachers, learning specialists, counselors, advisors, and coaches collaborate continuously. Students receive coordinated support — never isolated interventions.

The 4 Pillars of RHP
Disciplined Minds
Turn the card →Disciplined Minds
Intellectual curiosity and academic excellence, built through rigorous coursework, small classes, and a Learning Center that meets students where they are.
Sound Character
Turn the card →Sound Character
Integrity, empathy, and belonging. Advisory, service learning, and character education are built into the schedule — not bolted on.
Healthy Bodies
Turn the card →Healthy Bodies
Physical, social, and emotional well-being. Counselors, coaches, and advisors coordinate with teachers so wellness isn't a separate track.
Creative Spirits
Turn the card →Creative Spirits
Imagination, innovation, and authentic self-expression. Arts, interdisciplinary projects, and creative collaboration give every student a place to take risks.
Strengths, not deficits
For students who haven't thrived in a traditional setting.
The ecosystem is especially transformative for students whose learning profiles — executive functioning, anxiety, ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurodiverse characteristics — have gotten in the way elsewhere.
Through small classes, individualized instruction, evidence-based strategies, and a culture that recognizes strengths rather than deficits, students build the confidence, resilience, and self-advocacy that college demands.
What the ecosystem adds up to.

Dr. Jacqueline Olivier
Head of School since July 2024
“Design the environment, and students with very different strengths can all thrive in it.”
Two decades of leadership in independent education, curriculum innovation, and personalized learning — a career spent expanding access for students with diverse strengths and learning profiles.
Previously Academic Dean and Assistant Head of School at Carlthorp School, Head of School at Gillispie School, and Director of the Elementary School at New Roads School. She advised RHP for five years before being selected to lead it.
Dr. Olivier's approach is rooted in the conviction that a school's design — not a student's diagnosis — determines who gets to succeed. At each institution she has led, she has rebuilt curriculum and support structures so that teachers, learning specialists, and counselors work from a shared plan for every child.
She came to RHP already knowing it well. For five years she served as a consultant to the school, working alongside faculty and leadership on academic program design — which is why her first year as Head of School began with continuity rather than reinvention.
Her credential in educational therapy informs how RHP's Learning Center operates day to day: evidence-based strategies, taught explicitly, so students leave with the self-advocacy skills that college and career require.
Turn educational access into lifelong opportunity.
Every gift funds financial aid, the Learning Center, athletics, and the arts — the connected parts of the ecosystem behind every figure on this page.
